Michael Gallagher

Following a hearing of the Professional Conduct Committee (the “Committee”) into a complaint made against Mr. Michael Gallagher (Reg. No. 4762), the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (the Council) considered the report of the Committee on 2 October 2025 and imposed the sanction of cancellation pursuant to section 48(1)(b)(iv) of the Pharmacy Act 2007 (the “Act”).

The Council is obliged to give public notice of the sanction of cancellation pursuant to section 57(1) of the Pharmacy Act 2007.

The Council considered the issue of publication of the Committee Report pursuant to section 57(2) of the Act and decided that it was in the public interest to publish the report of the Committee, redacted so as not to identify third parties.

The Council’s decision was confirmed by the High Court on 12 January 2026.

Effective Date of Cancellation: 12 January 2026.
