Michael Gallagher Pharmacy Limited t/a as Gallagher's Pharmacy

Following a hearing of the Professional Conduct Committee (the “PCC”) into a complaint made against Michael Gallagher Pharmacy Limited, trading as Gallagher's Pharmacy (Reg. No. 5453), the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (the “Council”) considered the Committee’s report on 20 November 2025 and decided to censure the pharmacy.

The Council considered the issue of publication of sanction pursuant to section 57(1)(h) of the Pharmacy Act 2007 and decided that it was in the public interest to publish the sanction imposed.

The Council considered the issue of publication of the PCC’s report pursuant to section 57(2) of the Act and decided that it was in the public interest to publish the report of the PCC, redacted to protect the identification of any staff members working in the pharmacy other than Mr. Michael Gallagher.
