Pharmacists must be registered with the PSI if they wish to practise in Ireland.

    The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) – The Pharmacy Regulator, is the statutory body responsible for regulating pharmacists and pharmacies in the public interest.

    The PSI is responsible for defining and ensuring the standards of education and training for pharmacists who qualify in Ireland.

  • Registration
    Pharmacists and pharmaceutical assistants must be registered with the PSI if they wish to practise in Ireland. Pharmacies and Internet List Suppliers must also be registered with the PSI to open and operate.
